CROSS-EXAMINATION
Suppressed Evidence Admissible on Cross
State v. Mattatal, 603 A.2d 1098 (R.I. 1992). Defendant was convicted of first-degree murder after a body was found in his kitchen. During cross, state impeached defendant on a tape that was previously suppressed on Fourth and Sixth Amendment grounds. The trial judge allowed the impeachment and R.I.S.C. affirmed.
